FilethouseOur filethouse is located directly at the jetty and has two big tables with fresh water to wash and handle your fresh fish. We recommend to take out the intestines at sea and let the fish bleed out (cut it's throat) to give you the best quality filets.
In the filethouse you can also find a 400 liter freezer (one per house). We love for our guests to practice 'Catch and Release' or 'Catch and Eat' but sometimes the fish does not survive. Because we don't want to waste good resources we have a smaller freezer for the people in Bergsfjord so please put the fish you don't want in there, marked with the type of fish, they will be very thankful! PetrolOn the jetty you'll find petrolcans (20 liters) to fill your boat. Every boat has it's own line of 10 petrolcans to start with, locked with a cable and a key for each boat.
The Wildeboats have a 120 liters petroltank and our guests use in average 2 petrolcans a day. We recommend filling up your boat before each trip, just to be sure. We'll check if you have enough petrol left and fill the cans when needed. Cornelis takes a picture before and after filling, so you know what is used at the end of your stay. He even designed a special funnel to quick and easily fill up your Wildeboat. |

PrathusA place to come together and share your fishing stories!
Prathus ( which means freely translated talkinghouse) has a big robust table to come together for diner, a drink, a game or just a nice conversation! New in 2024: a separat corner with a grill/fireplace! There is a Weber Gas barbecue, a fridge, an airfryer and two frying pans free to use. We don't charge anything for the use but we appreciate a free donation or replacement of the paper cups, plates or oil for the fryers. |

Freshwater fishingFreshwater fishing is prohibited to inhabitants of Finnmark County but Loppa Seafishing has a dispensation for our guests.
You'll have to buy a fishingpermit and ask us for the dispensationpapers. We have beautiful freshwaterlakes around Bergsfjord where you can catch Arctic Char and Trout. On the Bergsfjord mountainlake we have a boat available for 2-3 persons. Ask us about the possibilities and the electric motor for the boat. |

Camper spaceWe have a designated place to park a camper with electricity. It's close to the jetty. We don't have bathroom facilities.
